Border Community's latest, Fairmont - Gazebo/Gazelle, once again delivers the goods. I can't say enough how good this quirky A side is. The melody sounds like it could almost derail, its so delicate. It's definitely not typical, it's almost wrong in a way (perhaps its slightly detuned), but it's so wrong, it's right. The bass line is one that will get the floor moving. And the breakdown introduces another sweeping pad that takes things up to another level. The B is just breathtakingly beautiful. It's so pretty it almost hurts. The hovering bassline that comes in during the breakdown is out of this world. I love the lfo action on it! And when that second pad comes in so beautifully you just wanna kinda explode. Border Community once again prove they are the best in the business. This is due out on November 25th, but I've spotted promos at the usual suspects like Juno and City16. Border Community isn't stopping there though. The following week, Nathan Fake drops a special 7" holiday single, with a modern take on 'Silent Night' while the B, 'Grandfathered' is taken from his forthcoming album, 'Drowning in a Sea of Love.' Like any BC release, run dont walk to get this before the shops are out.
